Before he attended Saturday lunchtime's game against Sevilla, Diego Costa has already got to work.
The striker attended Fremap clinic at 9:30 on Saturday morning to undergo a medical before finally putting pen to paper on his contract which he passed with flying colours.
On top of the usual medical examination, the Spanish international also met with the club nutritionist, David Lagos, who recently replaced David Jimenez after several years in the role.
He will help Costa to return to his ideal weight because after three months without training, he will need to be given a specific diet plan and will have extra physical work to do.
That unique plan will be designed by Oscar Ezequiel Ortega, the club's physio.
