1 month ago  Raphael   Sport News

A four nil victory for the super eagles of Nigeria and the first leg of the doubleheader match against the The Mediterranean Knights Libya will be a confidence booster ahead of the second leg encounter in Tunisia on Tuesday 16th of October.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are likely going to win their encounter because they will definitely be fired up first match against the Libyans, because they know that if there’s any chance for them of making the next nations cup in 2019, after back to back absence, they will need to pick at least a draw, or get all three points.
Table toppers South Africa have seven points and they are likely going to defeat Seychelles in the second leg because they are far superior team to Seychelles, who are not part of the elite footballing nations.
Coach Gernot Rorh is likely going to play the same eleven that played the first encounter. With Shehu Abdulahi injured, Ola Aina or any of Chidozie Awaziem or Kenneth Omeruo could play the right back position
Jamilu collins is should keep his position. The center back paring is expected to bethe same, and if there will be any change in defence, maybe Awaziem or Omeruo coming for one of the "oyinbo wall".
For the middle, Alex Iwobi should still remain in the number 10 position and maybe John Ogu may start in place of Oghenekaro Etebo. But Rohr should still stick with Wwilfred Ndidi.
For the front three guys top striker Odion Ighalo, who scored his first hat trick in the first leg on Saturday, is expected to start up front, and on the sides Ahmed Musa, who is the captain of the team may likely start again in the same but Samuel Kalu, he may not sure keep a place, because, there are lots of options from Henry Onyekuru, who plays for Galatasaray to Moses Simon, who could not make the world cup squad because of injury, he is also an options.
Gernot Rohr has tried majorly two different formationa, the 3-5-2 and the 4-3-3- formation. He should still stick to his 4-3-3 formation definitely Francis Uzoho should keep his place in goal.
A win for Nigeria will take the to nine points, with five points ahead of Libya, and there will be two games left, one of which will be played against Seychelles in Nigeria, but before that, they will travel to South Africa
If they get a draw in Tunisia, they will be just two points behind them, but they know this will be their best chance qualifying for the nations cup and both teams will want to give their best, as this game will determine a lot in this group.
This should be another game that Nigeria will fancy winning to have a chance of topping the group. With Coach Gernot Rohr not underrating the opponent.
The match will be played on Tuesday 16th October, 7 p.m. Local time. The game will be in Tunisia and that is also an added advantage for the Super Eagles as some of the players have said Sfax in Tunisia will be a big advantage for them because both of them will be playing on neutral ground because Libya are having some problems in a country as they have not been playing their home games in their country.
