Ajax Cape Town captain Travis Graham tightlipped over talk of a move to SuperSport United

Ajax Cape Town captain Travis Graham has remained guarded over claims of a move to SuperSport United after missing out on a top-eight finish this season. The Urban Warriors' MTN8 qualification hinged on victory over relegation-threatened Baroka in their final Absa Premiership clash on Saturday but choked as they were surprisingly beaten 1-0 by the Polokwane-based outfit thanks to a solitary goal from Letladi Madubanya. Ajax last qualified for the top-eight during the 2014/15 campaign when they ended in fourth with 44 points, going on to win the MTN8 trophy after beating Kaizer Chiefs on spot kicks in the final. “I guess we only have ourselves to blame,” Graham tells KickOff.com. “The game [against Baroka] was there for the taking. The stage was set in front of our home crowd and we couldn’t deliver.

“We are very disappointed, especially for our fans and technical team. They have put in a lot of work. But that is soccer and we will have to come back stronger next season,” says the 24-year-old Ajax skipper. Graham has since been linked with a potential move to SuperSport, although the Ajax skipper refused to give much away regarding his future. “I’m still contracted to Ajax and up until then, my blood is red. We shall see what the future holds for me," he concludes.
