Arsenal fans want this player back after seeing him progress while on loan

Arsenal fans want the club to recall Calum Chambers from his loan spell with Fulham. Chambers has impressed this season at Craven Cottage having been sent to the west London club for the whole campaign. While Fulham are struggling and look set for relegation from the Premier League back to the Championship, the 24-year-old has shone. Though traditionally a defender, he has been pushed into midfield for the Cottagers. But Chambers has looked comfortable there and scored in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea. And now Arsenal fans want him back, and hope he gets given a chance by Unai Emery.
One wrote: “With the new manager we won't be making the same mistakes all over again. We have enough young teenagers from France. And Calum Chambers will be like a new signing in May.” Another posted: “Arsenal should have recalled Chambers in January he's better than Xhaka”
A third commented: “Arsenal should keep chambers as a squad depth midfielder. He is decent.” Another wrote: “Calum Chambers playing some great football in the middle the Fulham midfield. I'm sure @UnaiEmery_ is watching with interest”
One Arsenal fan added: “He is growing in to a good PL CDM. A player we could use in a squad. Been very very good in Fulham this year.”
The loss to Chelsea came in Scott Parker’s first game in charge of Fulham. The former midfielder replaced Claudio Ranieri after the Italian was sacked in midweek. And Parker was pleased with Fulham’s performance in his first outing as boss.
He said: “In the first half we didn’t stamp our authority. The second half was amazing. “You need passion but you need skill and in the second half we showed that. “In the first half we weren’t brave on the ball. We showed character and hard work, but the most pleasing thing in the second half was that we were brave.”
