Arsenal Former Coach Wenger Makes A Controversial Statement As He Reveals His Next Football Job

1 week ago  Raphael   Sport News

Arsenal legendary manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that he is planning to make a return to football but the return would not necessarily mean to be a manager again. The Frenchman was dismissed from the Gunners job at the end of the 2017-18 season with one year left on his contract.
Wenger has been at Arsenal for 22 years and is now without a job since May this year. The former Monaco boss had previously claimed that he is planning to return to the managerial career in the near future.
However, speaking with beIN SPORTS, The Frenchman revealed that he is open to different roles in football.
“Well, it can be in different ways,” Wenger said on how he can offer his services. “It can be straight away as responsible for the result of the next game.” “It can be as well in managing a club from a little bit behind the manager.”
“It can be as well as a technical responsibility in world football, with an international company. It can be in different ways.”
“But I believe that I’ve spent my life, day and night, trying to have a concept about what this game is about,” Wenger continued. “And I would not like just to live in my garden now and think about that.”
Wenger, who recently rejected the management role for Fulham, would seemingly be open to a director of the football role. The 69-year-old won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and seven FA Community Shields with the North London side.
