It is understood that Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, “dreams” of signing the Brazilian.
Coutinho has spent this season on loan at Bayern Munich, but the Bundesliga champions will not make the deal permanent for €120million (£105m).

Meanwhile, Chelsea has been heavily linked with a move for Coutinho but it is believed Arsenal is now positioning itself to sign the 27-year-old.
