Barcelona have admitted their discussions with the entourage of Antoine Griezmann and Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has reacted by meeting the striker himself.

Thought to be available at 100 million euros in the summer, Griezmann is much sought after and it appears the Blaugrana are most intent on signing him.

Indeed, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu admitted earlier this week that they made contact with the Frenchman's agent over the winter, following a similar admission from director Guillermo Amor.

Therefore it is no surprise to see Cerezo make a serious play at keeping hold of his star forward, with Tuesday's discussions squarely focused on earning his commitment to Los Rojiblancos.
