Good news for Barcelona fans ahead of their mouthwatering clash against their fierce rival Real Madrid, as it was reported that Jasper Cillessen and Arthur are close to returning from injury for the Catalans.
Both players are already in the final stretch of their rehabilitation process and competed in part of Monday's training session with the group. The Dutch goalkeeper has been out with a calf strain since 1 February and although it was expected he would be out for six weeks, he is on track to be back sooner.
Meanwhile, the midfielder injured his hamstring on 8 February and it was estimated that he would be sidelined for a month but his recovery has also been very positive so far.
In any case, neither man will be available to face Real Madrid on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey and it seems unlikely that they will make it back for the LaLiga Santander meeting. During the morning session at Sant Joan Despi, focused on post-game recovery, Inaki Pena, Chumi, Miranda and Riqui Puig participated from Barcelona B.
