According to reports in AS, Barcelona boss Quique Setien is set to sign former Arsenal striker Lucas Perez from Spanish Laliga side Deportivo Alaves.
Barcelona are currently in need of a striker which their new boss admitted in a recent interview. The former Atletico Madrid striker is currently worth 20 million euros (₦8billion) which is his release clause.
Unlike Ángel Rodríguez and Cristhian Stuani who are also Barcelona target, Perez's club his ready to discuss terms with the Blaugranas if the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) give them the permission for an emergency signing.
With Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele are out for a long period, Perez is highly needed at Camp Nou and he's already got eight goals in 17 appearances this season in Laliga.
