Baroka FC co-coach Kgoloko Thobejane says there is nothing to be scared of ahead of their clash against Orlando Pirates, given the Buccaneers’ recent performance in the Nedbank Cup. Baroka arrived in Johannesburg this past Saturday where the whole squad was in attendance at Orlando Stadium to watch Pirates record a 2-1 win over Bloemfontein Celtic in their Ke Yona quarter-final. And while the result means the Bucs are undefeated in their last three outings in all competitions, Thobejane was less than impressed with the Soweto giants’ efforts on the day. "On Saturday, we went to Orlando [Stadium] to enjoy the game and to witness how the two teams played," Thobejane tells KickOff.com.

"Believe me when I say the way Pirates are playing, they are not scaring us. We just have to attack them. If we don't attack them they will come at us. "They are a team that plays football, they are playing football as one [unit]. Our players must tell themselves that ‘if they [Pirates] are good it means myself, I'm good’. My boys just have to believe in themselves and not go into Wednesday's game thinking Pirates is a big team." Thobejane says the 3-1 loss in their last league game, against Maritzburg United, will serve as great motivation to make things right in their game against the Sea Robbers. "Yes, we have lost our last game but we will want to win our next game. From Wednesday we want three points. These draws, draws, draws. If we can win three games then fine, the draws can come. We must stop our opponents from opening the gap. But our boys are ready, only Richard Matloga is injured, but maybe he can play the weekend match against Celtic." Bakgaga visit Pirates at Orlando Stadium at 19h30 on Wednesday.
