Real Madrid defeated Bayern Munich 4-2 in the Champions League quarter-final second leg on Tuesday but the off-field scenes upset the German side and they have now reported Spanish police to UEFA.
Bayern feel that clashes between authorities and fans involved an overly strong use of force by officers at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
"We believe the force used was excessive and completely out of place," Bayern stated on the club's website.
"A complaint has already been submitted."
