Cape Town City talisman Lebogang Manyama says the title contenders need to show their loss to Maritzburg United was nothing more than a glitch when they host Free State Stars tonight. Kick-off is at 20h00 at Cape Town Stadium. “There’s no better way to bounce back than picking up maximum points against Free State Stars on Friday,” Manyama tells KickOff.com. “I think the coach summed it up nicely after the Maritzburg loss [1-0 defeat on Monday] when he said that we’re a team that loses together and come Friday we’re a team that will win together. “We need do rectify things in front of our home fans to show them our previous result was nothing more than glitch, you know. “Stars won’t be an easy match as they have their own battles they’re fighting. So, we won’t take them lightly as they’ll be out to gain maximum points as well.”

The former Ajax Cape Town ace believes the Citizens have the mentality to keep pace with log leaders Bidvest Wits, who are five points ahead with four games left. “If you don’t feel pressure and you can’t deal with it then you shouldn’t be in this game. We should play the game we feel will suit us and help with whatever pressure there is. “I think the players are mature and experienced enough to know what’s expected and required. We should just go out and do the business and not worry what’s going on around us. We maintain that we take it one game at a time.”
