Cape Town City chairman John Comitis says there are no immediate plans to appoint a new technical director at the club. Former AmaZulu boss Craig Rosslee vacated the position earlier this month to pursue his coaching badges in Europe. While Comitis didn't close the door on Rosslee returning to City, he says their intended meeting last week failed to materialise. "Well the meeting didn't take place, Craig didn't come back to me," Comitis tells KickOff.com.
"But at the moment there will be no changes here. There will be no replacement for him as he is busy assessing his coaching badges situation. "We have more than enough people here at the club to carry on with the technical director duties until the end of the season." The Citizens are topping the Absa Premiership standings under coach Eric Tinkler with 39 points from 21 matches, and next host Chippa United on April 3.
