Carabao Cup: Two Chelsea player reportedly clashed in the dressing after their loss to Man City

According to reports in The Sun, Chelsea rebel Kepa Arrizabalaga had a stand-up row with Willy Caballero after claiming he was the better goalkeeper. The Chelsea number one said that was why he insisted on staying on the pitch for the penalty shoot-out in Sunday’s Carabao Cup Final. His incendiary remarks infuriated Caballero who was supposed to come on for the pens.
The two squared up in the Wembley dressing room as it all kicked off. Both manager Maurizio Sarri and his assistant Gianfranco Zola had also weighed into Arrizabalaga after the embarrassing conclusion to the game. Sarri had told Caballero that he would be going on for the shoot-out in a tactical switch before Arrizabalaga went down injured late in extra time. But Arrizabalaga refused to come off when his number was held up prompting unprecedented scenes.
Meanwhile, Kepa has been fined a week’s wages for his Wembley antics. And the world most expensive keeper could be axed for Wednesday’s crunch game at home to Tottenham. Sarri revealed at his pre-match presser Caballero could get the nod ahead of the Spaniard.
He said: “It will be a decision for the good of the group. For the other players, all the players. “He has to be ready. He made a mistake. A big mistake. There are some consequences. “If the consequence is to play, he has to be ready to play. If the consequence is the bench, he has to be ready to go to the bench.
