Dani Carvajal has targeted the Champions League final in Cardiff as his return date from injury.
The Real Madrid right back was substituted on 40 minutes with a hamstring problem in Los Blancos' 3-0 win against Atletico Madrid in the first-leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.
"I'm trying to help the team from a distance now," said the 25-year-old. "I hope that I'm fit to play should we reach the final but the most important thing is that the team gets there because there is still a very tough game to come at the Calderon.
"If we get to the final then the objective that I've set myself is to be able to feature there. I'm going to work very hard."
Zinedine Zidane's side went a long way to qualifying for that final on June 3 with Cristiano Ronaldo's hat trick at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, and Carvajal believes that being the first side to retain the trophy in back-to-back season is an attainable goal now.
"I hope we win it, we're challenging to do it and we depend on ourselves," he said. "The Champions League is two games away and LaLiga is four games away, but we don't have a preference of one title or the other."
Juventus beat Monaco 2-0 in France on Wednesday night, which could set up a final with the Old Lady.
"A final against Juve would be great," he said, "we would be reminded of the seventh [European Cup crown], but the most important thing is getting through because we're not there yet."
Carvajal was speaking at an event to launch a soccer school in Leganes, and the Spain international hopes to see his hometown club secure their LaLiga status with three games remaining.
"I hope that they stay in the first division, they're close to doing that and I think they'll manage it," he said. "It's their first year in the first division and perhaps they've succumbed to that a bit, but they've had a great year."
