Celta win Europe's respect

2 weeks ago  Raphael   Sport News

A 3-2 first leg victory was good enough for Celta to progress to the Galician club's first ever Europa League semi-finals after drawing 1-1 against Genk at Cristal Arena.
The Belgian side's late push for what would have been the winner wasn't meant to be as their hopes of progressing died with it, as Eduardo Berizzo's side held on thanks to a 63 minute Pione Sisto strike.
Leandro Trossard gave the Blue-whites reasons to believe, but it was the Galicians who ended up making history.
