Manchester United have struggled in the beginning of the Premier League this season and it continued this weekend as the team drew 1-1 at Old Trafford against Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The major talking point in the game was the performance of former Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez whose performance was below par and failed to register his name on the scoresheet a situation that has gone to last for 891 minutes.
Alexis Sanchez scored 15, 11 and 21 goals during his three seasons in Barcelona. He scored 25, 17 and 30 in the same period at Arsenal and had managed a further eight by the time he sat down to play Glory, Glory Man United on a piano in January 2018 for a video used by the club to announce his arrival.
He has scored only three times in 23 games since, the last in April’s FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur. In the league, he has gone 831 minutes without a goal.
