Chelsea manager Antonio Conte admitted that Barcelona are favourites when they go head-to-head in the Champions League and said that they will have to suffer in order to win.

The Italian explained that his side will go out to play their own football and is expecting the visitors to have a lot of the ball.

"We are talking about what will be a great game," said Conte."It is a big challenge for us as we will play against one of the best teams in the world and we will need to be really up for the game.

"It will not be easy as we face a team with great players like Messi, Suarez and Iniest but also they are a team that is very strong as a group.

"We need to be ambitious, play our football, we know about Barcelona, that they play with the ball, look to control the game and will have chances. We need to be ready to suffer without the ball and be solid. When we have the ball we have to show what we can do.

"We are not favourites, on paper it is Barcelona but we are very motivated to play this game."

Conte accepted that Messi in particular will be tough to deal with even if he has never scored against Chelsea.

"We are talking about the best player in the world. Messi has the ability to decide a game on his own," he continued.

"He can change everything with his ability and we need to take a lot of care with him but not just him. Suarez is a strong striker and we need to work as a team to stop them all."
