Christophe Henrotay who happened to be Chelsea and Belgium shootstopper Thibaut Courtois agent has revealed that he made it clear to Chelsea officials that his client wants to leave the London club for Real Madrid.

The Belgian had a wonderful performance at the just concluded FIFA World Cup in Russia which was crowned with him winning the Golden glove, has been strongly linked with a move to the Los Blancos.

"I have read that Chelsea want to keep Courtois but U have told the club clearly that the best option for him is to go to Real Madrid," said Henrotay. "It is a big decision for Thibaut because he wants to be nearer to his family. We understand that the people at Chelsea may not be happy that he wants to go but it is for a humane reason and he wants to be close to his family."

Chelsea has few days to know the fate of the player as the English summer transfer windows will close on Thursday.
