A three-goal lead over Sevilla has allowed Zinedine Zidane to take the risk of leaving out Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric from his matchday squad for the second leg on Thursday night.
Even though the game will only be Real Madrid's third since the winter break, the Portuguese winger will be rested for the second time, staying in the Spanish capital ahead of the LaLiga clash against the Rojiblancos on Sunday.
Modric, meanwhile has played every minute of the previous two games and will sit out the clash along with Sergio Ramos, Lucas Vazquez, and Mateo Kovacic - who are all on injury comebacks.
