Alexis Sanchez is set for a January move to Manchester City, with Kevin De Bruyne inadvertently admitting how excited he was about the striker arriving.

With the Arsenal man's contract set to expire in the summer, they are reportedly considering cashing in on the Chilean before he walks for free in six months.

Although no move has been made official yet, De Bruyne allowed his excitement to get the better of him."It is good because he will bring new things to the team," said the Belgian.

The Mirror believe that the deal could be concluded soon for a fee of 67 million euros.

It would mean that Pep Guardiola does get his wish too, having tried and failed to secure the signing of the ex-Barcelona man during the summer.

Interestingly, Sanchez would also be available to the Citizens in the Champions League too, as he is not cup tied for that particular competition.
