Julen Lopetegui unveiled the list of 25 players who are in the Spain squad for the games against Israel (qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia) and France (friendly), with Gerard Deulofeu and Asier Illarramendi being the most newsworthy additions.
The squad consists of: De Gea, Reina, Sergio Rico, Pique, Ramos, Jordi Alba, Azpilicueta, Nacho, Javi Martinez, Monreal, Isco, Thiago Alcantara, Busquets, Illarramendi, Iniesta, Ander Herrera, Koke, Iago Aspas, Diego Costa, Deulofeu, Vitolo, Silva, Morata and Pedro.
For this double header, the coach has also recovered some senior players who were not available to him last time becuase of injury.
Sergio Ramos, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Andres Iniesta all return.
On Monday, the squad will begin their preparation for the Israel game which will be played on Friday in Gijon.
