Arsenal midfielder and vice-captain, Jordan Nobbs has signed a new contract with the club. The 27-year-old joined the Gunners from Sunderland in 2010 and has scored 66 goals in 206 appearances and she has also capped 63 times for the England women team.
Arsenal released an official statement on their website to announce the deal: "We’re delighted to confirm that vice-captain Jordan Nobbs has signed a new contract with the club. The England international has made 206 appearances to date, scoring 66 goals since joining us from Sunderland in 2010," the club stated.
"During her time with the club, Jordan has won the Barclays FA Women’s Super League title three times, the Women’s FA Cup four times, and the FA Continental Tyres League Cup five times. As well as a glittering career with Arsenal, Jordan has also made 60 appearances for her national team, scoring seven goals."
Arsenal head coach, Joe Montemurro believes there is even more to come from Nobbs in the future: "She’s an important role model because I think the best way of being an important role model in the way we do things is by actions, and she does it every day," Joe stated on Arsenal official website.
