After a scandelous 12-0 defeat to Barcelona B, third division side Eldense have ceased all football activities, in part due to the severity of the loss.
The future of the club is not yet clear, although signs don't look good as Italian investors are pulling their funding since the announcement.
The board shared a statement in which both points were reinforced:
1. The contract with our Italian investors is hereby rescinded.
2. Precautionarily, all first team sporting activity will be suspended.
