Eric Cantona: I would prefer to have Guardiola as manager of Manchester United

Manchester United legend Eric Cantona said that he would prefer to have the more attack-minded Pep Guardiola in charge at Old Trafford than Jose Mourinho.
Cantona was an inspirational figure at United from 1992 to 1997 scoring 55 goals in 185 games, and while he was positive about Mourinho, he admitted that Manchester City coach Guardiola's style was more to his liking.
"He is playing defensively and that is not the United identity," said Cantona.
"They are both magnificent but I prefer attacking football, to be creative which is what I have tried to do in all my career. I don't understand why United signed a defensive manager.
"I love Mou, but I prefer the Barcelona and Guardiola way of playing. I would prefer that Pep was the United manager as it would be more logical. I don't watch City play as the are City but I would love to see my team coached by Guardiola.
Mourinho defended his style
"More ambition than what we have shown at home would be difficult, I don't see who have more ambition than us," he told a press conference ahead of a clash with Brighton.
"Against Newcastle we played with Pogba, Rashford, Martial, Mata, Lukaku... the full-backs aren't fullbacks: Valencia and Ashley Young. Everyone knows they are wingers. I don't know what you want."
