The agent of Christian Eriksen has welcomed interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona.

Eriksen has established himself as one of Tottenham’s best players since joining from Ajax in 2013 and has been linked with high profile moves away in recent years.

The 26-year-old has two years remaining on his current £70,000-a-week deal at Tottenham and his agent, Martin Schoots, likes that some of the world’s biggest clubs are interested in his client.

“When clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are mentioned, it’s always a compliment,” he told Danish outlet BT, via the London Evening Standard.

“Since Christian was 14-years-old, big clubs have shown interest. The first were Chelsea, AC Milan and Barcelona, since then there has been no transfer window without any offer or interest.”

Eriksen responded to transfer speculation in January by reiterating his content at Tottenham but the Denmark international could easily command twice as much money as he currently earns elsewhere.

Since joining Tottenham, only Mesut Ozil (49) has provided more Premier League assists than Eriksen (45).
