Italian media outlet Sport Mediaset has learned that Premier League outfit Everton have been showing interest in Palermo striker Ilija Nestorovski. The Toffees sent scouts to watch the FYR Macedonia star in action tonight when the Rosanero take on leaders Juventus, which is enough to suggest they are considering a summer bid for his services. Everton lack proper cover for centre forward Romelu Lukaku and may also have to find him a replacement if the Belgian leaves for greener pastures.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also keen on Ilija Nestorovski, who has impressed in his maiden Serie A campaign. Despite representing relegation strugglers Palermo, the 26-year-old managed 9 goals in 24 league appearances, while the remainder of the team bagged 11 goals between them. And with the Rosanero almost certain to get relegated to Serie B, chances are that Ilija Nestorovski will be on the move in the summer transfer window.
