Former Barcelona star, Jeremy Mathieu has put an end to his football career after suffering an injury in training on Wednesday.
The France international retired at the age of 36 while playing form Portuguese side Sporting CP joining them in 2017 for free from Barcelona.
He started his football career with the French side Sochaux in 2000 before joining Toulouse five years later. He moved to Spain in 2009 joining Valencia before dumping the Los Che for Barcelona in 2014.
The 36-year-old had a great time with Barcelona winning eight trophies.
