Former Manchester United striker, Michael Owen, has predicted the outcome of the FA Cup fifth-round match between Chelsea and Liverpool on Tuesday.
Chelsea will tonight host the Premier League leaders at Stamford Bridge. Frank Lampard’s men head to the match after playing a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth in the Premier League last weekend, while Liverpool lost 3-0 against Watford.
“For me, this is the match of the round. The four medals Frank Lampard has won in the FA Cup is a reflection of his love concern with the competition and Liverpool are the best team in the world this season,” Owen wrote in his Betvictor column.
“Since it is a one leg-tie at this stage of the competition, I see this match being a tight, cagey contest. However, much will depend on the side Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, to decided to play, although as both Shrewsbury and Everton can attest to, even a more youthful Liverpool side will take some stopping.”
