Fabregas confesses to throwing pizza at Ferguson

4 months from now  Raphael   Sport News

An infamous meeting between Manchester United and Arsenal in 2004 ended with a slice of pizza being hurled at Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson in the tunnel and now, 13 years on, the culprit has confessed.
Cesc Fabregas was a Gunners player on the day that United ended their 49-game unbeaten streak with a 2-0 win at Old Trafford and the then-youngster got involved afterwards as tempers flared between the sides.
"I heard noises and I went out with my slice of pizza," Cesc said on English television. "I saw [Sol] Campbell, [Rio] Ferdinand and [Martin] Keown and everyone was pushing each other. "I threw the pizza and it hit him.
"I apologise, Sir Alex, I really did not want to do that."
It was one of the most peculiar moments of Premier League history, and now it has finally been cleared up.
