According to the football transfer rumours in Turkish Media, Fenerbahce are linked with a summer move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil.

Mesut Ozil has joined Arsenal from Real Madrid for a fee in the region of 47 million euros in 2013. The 28 year-old has a valid contract with Arsenal until June 2018.

Since his arrival from Real Madrid, Mesut Ozil has scored 29 goals and provided 52 assists in 148 games for Arsenal, including nine goals and provided nine assists in 31 games in all competitions this season.

The 28-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

Mesut Ozil has represented Germany at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 27 caps and scoring nine goals, before making his senior international debut in February 2009. As a member of England national football team, Ozil has won 83 caps and has scored 21 goals.

The Germany international is a player who has impressed many European Clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Fenerbahce manager Dick Advocaat would prefer playing him as a attacking midfielder.
