The Spanish FA's Competition Committee has announced that nine players will miss the upcoming weekend of LaLiga action as a result of yellow card accumulation suspensions.
Deportivo La Coruna are the worst affected as they lose three players for this reason, with Guilherme Torres, Alejandro Arribas and Carlos Gil all having picked up a fifth booking during last weekend's win over Malaga.
Sporting Gijon Ismael Lopez will also spending this weekend in the stands after his appeal was thrown out. Real Betis' Jonas Martin and German Pezzella, Granada's Sverrir Ingi Ingason and Mubarak Wakaso, as well as Eibar's Florian Lejeune round off the list.
No players will miss Sunday evening's Clasico with such a ban, although Neymar will have to serve the second part of this three-match suspension.
