Forward Lucky Nguzana has returned to National First Division side FC Cape Town after a failed move to Turkish second-tier club Umraniyespor. The 25-year-old joined Umraniyespor at the start of the season, but after just three starts in the first half of the season, is now back with his former club in South Africa.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Nguzana has long been thought of as a player with talent, but has failed to deliver consistently on the big stage. After leaving Sundowns, he had spells with Lamontville Golden Arrows, AmaZulu and Platinum Stars, but made just 13 league starts in three seasons for those teams. But a good season with FC Cape Town in 2015/16 earned him a two-year deal in Turkey, one that he claimed at the time was "life-changing".
