According to Marca, Isco Alarcon has been left out of the Real Madrid squad for the Copa del Rey semi-final return leg against Barcelona despite returning from injury. Santiago Solari revealed his initial list of players for Wednesday’s big match, with the Malaga native left out along with Mariano Diaz, Brahim Diaz and Jesus Vallejo.
The Argentine coach will have to leave out one more player from the preliminary 19-man list. Isco was given the medical green light this week following a back injury which had kept him out of the last four matches. However, the aforementioned absence means he is not up to speed and Solari has deemed him unready for a match as intense as El Clasico.
