Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, Kai Havertz have been told to turn down the chance to join Premier League giants Liverpool and choose German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund instead.
Havertz is one of the promising youngsters in Europe and he has been on the radar of so many European sides nut latest reports have it that Liverpool are leading the chase for the 20 years old midfielder.
Former Germany international, Jens Nowotny in an interview with Goal told the youngster to turn down to join top clubs like Liverpool and Bayern Munich and consider a move to a team like Borussia Dortmund instead.
“He is on the way to becoming a world-class player. He has huge potential,” he said.
“He could develop at Bayern Munich, but he would have to win his chance to play first and foremost. That works better for some clubs than for others. For a young player, Borussia Dortmund may be better than Bayern Munich in terms of club and environment.”
The youngster scored a brace in Bayer Leverkusen's 1-4 win over Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga Monday night football.
