Griezmann snubs Barcelona A\after so much talk about France forward Antoinne Griezmann future ahead of the world cup showpiece, the Atletico Madrid player has cleared the air about his future by committing his future to the Rojiblancos.

The former Real Sociedad player was linked with a €100million move to Barcelona.

In a TV programme called ‘The Decision’, aired on Spanish TV, Griezmann declared that he will remain at the Wanda Metropolitano.

“I have decided to stay,” said the 27-year-old. “Atletico is doing everything they can to keep the team growing; it’s amazing, they’re making a lot of efforts, I cannot stand it, I need to tell people that I want to stay.”

Diego Simeone’s side has already secured the services of his fellow countryman Thomas Lemar from Monaco. Atletico Madrid made an announcement that Griezmann decision to stay won’t change their transfer plans this summer.
