There was excellent news for Ernesto Valverde and Barcelona on Monday as Andres Iniesta joined in for part of the day's training session, having made significant progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury.
He put in several hours of hard work over the weekend and, barring any setbacks, it is expected that he will be given the medical green light to take on Chelsea on Wednesday.
His presence will be very important, not just because he is the captain and the man who created Lionel Messi's goal at Stamford Bridge, but because his natural replacement Philippe Coutinho is cup-tied.
Not recovering in time for this match, however, are Nelson Semedo and Denis Suarez.
