Manchester City have been dealt with a big blow, as their talisman won’t be available for tonight’s game against Liverpool at Anfield.

He has been sidelined for the past five games for both Argentina and City due to a knee injury.

"He has stayed in Manchester, he hasn't travelled with us to Liverpool," he explained in his pre-match press conference.

"Sergio is feeling much better, but the doctors spoke with him today and he told them he still feels uncomfortable."

Aguero's last match came on March 4 against Chelsea, with his knee injury actually coming in a routine training session with the team on March 11.
