In the World Cup 2018 play-offs, due to take place in November, Italy and Croatia will not be drawn against each other as both have been seeded.
Switzerland and Denmark are the other seeded teams in the draw, with Sweden, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Greece the four non-seeded sides.
So far, there are 10 European countries that are guaranteed to be going to Russia: France, Portugal, Germany, Serbia, Poland, England, Spain, Belgium, Iceland plus the hosts.
The play-off draw will be made on Tuesday, October 17, in Zurich at 14.00 CET, with the games played on November 9 and 14.
Slovakia were the worst second-placed team so are out of the play-offs whilst the Netherlands, who were unable to thrash Sweden as required, are the first major casualty.
