Real Madrid loaned James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich on a two-year deal during last summer's transfer market and the playmaker is enjoying life at the Allianz Arena.
In fact, he's so happy that he hopes to stay with the Bundesliga leaders beyond 2019.
"At Bayern Munich it's great," he said in an interview with Sport1. "For that reason, I can see myself playing here for many years more. "Bayern Munich are at the same level as Real Madrid, a club of the highest quality. "They always fight for titles and are used to securing them."
He also spoke of how much he is enjoying the city as a place to live.
"I really like Munich," the Colombian said. "It's a bit cold, but I'm adapting well. "This is a new life for me and Munich is a fantastic city."
So far this season James has featured for Bayern in 19 matches, scoring twice and assisting four times.
