The pool of potential coaches to
take over from Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid just got smaller, after Joachim
Low, coach of the German national football team, ruled himself out of the
running on Friday morning.
Zidane surprised everyone on
Thursday by announcing his departure from Los Blancos, just a few days after
winning his third consecutive Champions League.
"I absolutely rule it out," Low said in the Italian town of Appiano, where Die Mannschaft are preparing for the 2018 World Cup. "For me that's not an issue, I'm now at the World Cup. "I'm sure they will find a good successor for Zidane."
