Juventus have had to abandon their £26million move for Patrik Schick after the forward failed a medical. The Czech Republic striker is believed to be suffering from a heart problem which led to Juventus deciding not to pursue the deal. Schick netted 11 times for Sampdoria in his maiden Serie A campaign last season and has also been interesting Tottenham.

Juventus have already lost two key defenders this summer with Dani Alves joining Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer after snubbing Manchester City.

 

And the much sought after Leonardo Bonucci has joined AC Milan having long been a target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
