Kane pledges one more season to Tottenham

1 month ago  Raphael   Sport News

Harry Kane has vowed to stay at Tottenham for at least one more season but Mauricio Pochettino’s side may not be so fortunate with some of their other star players, reports The Sun.

Fresh questions are being asked of the long-term futures of Tottenham’s best players following their elimination from the Champions League last 16 to Juventus on Tuesday night.

Tottenham are due to move into their brand new stadium next season and Pochettino’s side will do everything within their power to ensure they make the move with all of their best players still at the club.

Kane has a contract that runs until 2022 but Real Madrid are reportedly keen to sign the Premier League star at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best strikers in the world this season but is ready to stay at Tottenham for at least one more year before considering his future.

Kane has already revealed wining silverware fuels his ambitions and Tottenham haven’t lifted a trophy since their League Cup triumph in 2008.

While Kane is ready to continue in north London, Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld look set to leave the club in the summer with Manchester United interested in signing both defenders.

Only Edinson Cavani, Lionel Messi, Mo Salah has scored as many goals as Kane in Europe’s top five leagues this season (24).
