In the English Premier League and all other competitions in Europe this season Chelsea are yet to lose a game and it boils down to the new leadership at the helms of affair at the London club. The Blues currently sit third on the English Premier League table and are also intact in all other competition.
Here are the ratings of Chelsea player this season:
Kepa Arrizabalaga
After some early mistakes have now disappeared, the world-record signing for a goalkeeper is looking worth every penny with some top saves and playing excellently with the ball at his feet.
With six Premier League clean sheets to his name and another three in the Europa League, Kepa is looking like a very decent signing for the Blues. 8
Willy Caballero
Just the two Carabao Cup performances for Caballero so far, both ending in wins, but the first game against Liverpool was a lot more impressive from the Argentine. 5
Cesar Azpilicueta
Consistent once again in the early stages and trying to adapt once again to becoming a right-back after his stint in Antonio Conte's side. A more defensive option at right-back, however he has got another assist for Alvaro Morata.
While he looked a lot better in the latest draw against Everton, he hasn't quite looked as comfortable in that role as he did last season in the three at the back. 6
Marcos Alonso
Had an outstanding start to the season, especially going forward, and has really shone playing in the left-back role after playing wing-back last season.
One goal, three assists plus winning two penalties against Huddersfield and Newcastle, he has still come up with some important moments, despite being a little quieter in the past few matches. 7
Davide Zappacosta
Even though Azpilicueta has not been at his best at right-back, Zappacosta is hardly pushing him for the starting spot. He has not really shined when he has got the chance and his best game was against Derby in the Carabao Cup. 4
Antonio Rudiger
Has been very solid at the back with good pace and using the ball well also, looking to play further forward and being more incisive with his passing.
Looks to be settling in well under Sarri and with a high line he has the pace to recover well. Grabbed his first goal of the season against Manchester United and his range of passing has been superb. 9
David Luiz
Luiz struggled at the start of the season and really looked off the pace defensively, even though his passing was superb and key to the way that Sarri wants to play.
He was excellent against Liverpool and his passing in particular has been sublime, and he doesn't look lose to losing his place with some more decent showings. 8
Andreas Christensen
Has warned that he is not happy playing off the bench, but in truth he is not taking the chances on the rare occasions that he is getting them.
Looked a little shaky when he played in the Europa League matches that he has played and he looked all over the place in the Carabao Cup win over Derby. 4
Gary Cahill
Like Christensen he has struggled to get any game time in the Premier League with just one substitute appearance to his name. He has featured in the Europa League and Carabao Cup, but it still remains to see if he will play any part post January. 5
Jorginho
Has settled into Premier League life perfectly and has become the pass master of the side with the most passes in the whole of the league.
Setting the tempo has been key and it is no surprise that the Blues have succeeded with Jorginho controlling the games. However, there have been signs that he can be stopped, with Everton proving that disrupting him disrupts the whole Chelsea side. 8
Cesc Fabregas
After a difficult start through injury, Fabregas has seen his role develop into Jorginho's understudy, coming on late in matches or being used in the Europa League and Carabao Cup. 6
Mateo Kovacic
Obviously a lot of class and neat and tidy on the ball, linking up well on the left and has put in some decent performances. However, there remains a bit of a lack of end product with just one assist in his seven Premier League appearances. 5
N'Golo Kante
Playing a completely new role under Sarri to one that he has played in the past, and there are still some question marks about whether or not he is really able to play at his full potential in that role.
He isn't in danger of being dropped, but the way that he used to dominate game has just not been there this season so far in the new position. 6
Ross Barkley
Had a decent pre-season and also a decent start to the season, so it seemed a little harsh that he lost his place to Kovacic after just two games in.
The Englishman had a superb October, grabbing three goals in three games, being nominated for the Player of the Month award and getting his spot in the England team back. 8
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Not the start that Loftus-Cheek would have wanted in the Premier League as he has not made a start and has just come off the bench three times so far.
His shining moment so far was the 3-1 win over BATE Borisov where he bagged a hat-trick, but he has really struggled to make an impact so far. 5
Pedro
You might have thought it wouldn't be his year, however nothing could be further from the truth with Pedro starting as the standout winger of the campaign.
His progression took a blow, however, when he picked up an injury against PAOK, and since coming back he hasn't quite made the same impact, except for netting once against Crystal Palace. 7
Willian
Is getting his chances with Sarri and has made ten starts out of 12 Premier League games, with another three starts in the Europa League and beginning both Carabao Cup games.
However, his productivity hasn't been quite what it should, with just two goals and two assists in the league, with another strike in Europe. 5
Eden Hazard
A stunning start to the season, despite coming back late from the World Cup, racing to the top of the Premier League top scorers list with seven goals.
If the Blues want to have a title charge then Hazard needs to continue, however his goalscoring form has been curtailed slightly through a back injury and he has not netted in four Chelsea games. 9
Victor Moses
Victor Moses might not be seeing much game time at all in the Premier League this season with a switch of formation meaning that he is seen as just a winger, rather than a wing-back.
Maurizio Sarri has already stated that Moses does not fit his system, so don't be expecting to see the Nigerian feature much over the next few weeks. 3
Callum Hudson-Odoi
So much hope for the youngster after a superb pre-season, but he has just not been given the chance to play so far. Only two substitute appearances late in matches are not enough to show what he can do. 4
Alvaro Morata
Many Blues fans would have been hoping that his goal against Arsenal might have opened the floodgates for Alvaro Morata, but that wasn't the case straight away.
He lost his starting place to Olivier Giroud, however he won it back through netting four Premier League goals in four games. However, his disappointing display against Everton proved there is still work to be done. 6
Olivier Giroud
There were some doubts over whether or not Giroud would fit into Sarri's system, but the win over Bournemouth proved why he can play another key role.
The worry has been about his goalscoring ability, and the hope will be after his winner against BATE that he can kick on. 5
