Everton boss Ronald Koeman says he is not scared of giving Nigerian teenage star Ademola Lookman is first Premier League start when the Toffees take on Crystal Palace today (Saturday), Completesportsnigeria.com reports. Lookman made his debut for Everton and scored after coming on in a 4-0 win against Manchester City last weekend. Koeman told Everton's official website that he could be tempted to give the 19-year-old his first start after impressing in his debut. “I’m not afraid to give him a start,” said Koeman. “I’m impressed because he came from a lower league into a Premier League team with good players, with high intensity, and from the first day you’ve seen the reaction to him from the rest of the players. “Football players know exactly after two days what a new signing is like, and he brought that quality. It’s already a big compliment for him that he was part of the squad last weekend instead of other players with more experience. “We knew his qualities but he showing that on a higher level. He had a great debut and is part of the first team. Everyone knows he is still young but he will get games. That’s the best way to improve young players.”
