According to Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, FC Midtjylland have rejected a bid from Racing Genk for the lanky attacker. The offer from the Belgian First Division pacesetters was between four and five million euros but it was not accepted. Ahead of a possible departure from FC Midtjylland, Onuachu was left of the squad for a friendly against Hamburger SV on Wednesday, a game in which six Nigerians Frank Onyeka, Ayo Okosun, Sunday Odeh, Jibril Abubakar, Babajide David and Rilwan Hassan featured.
The 24-year-old has played nonstop at FC Midtjylland since 2012, scoring 66 goals in 166 appearances while providing 22 assists. With 11 goals to his name, no Nigerian player has scored more goals than Onuachu in the European Leagues so far this season.

Barcelona are reportedly considering a move for Ighalo as backup for their main striker Luis Suárez, while Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are also keen on his services. Ighalo notched 17 goals in 55 Premier League appearances during his time with Watford prior to his shift to Changchun Yatai. VICTOR MOSES
Fenerbahce are on the verge of announcing the capture of former Nigeria international Victor Moses. The Yellow Canaries and Chelsea earlier reached an agreement for the transfer of the winger and there are no more stumbling blocks in negotiations after the player agreed personal terms with the Turkish Super Lig powerhouse. Victor Moses arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday evening, accompanied by his wife, to finalize a five-month loan deal with Fenerbahce. A couple of Premier League clubs had been interested in the 28-year-old but pulled out of a potential deal due to his high wages. Fenerbahce stole a march on their rivals after they agreed to cover the entirety of Moses's wages for the remainder of the season, approximately £2.86m. This is the fourth time since the right winger's arrival at Stamford Bridge that he has been farmed out on loan, with previous stints at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United.
JOSH MAJA
It is no secret that Sunderland hotshot Maja could depart the League One club before the transfer window closes for business next week. According to the Daily Star UK, Middlesbrough are ready to enter the race to sign Sunderland top scorer Josh Maja if their neighbours decide to cash in on him this month. He is the second Nigerian player linked with a move to Boro in recent days as they are close to confirming the signing of former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel. Maja is also on the wish list of West Ham, Tottenham Hotspur, Celtic and Rangers. The 20-year-old, who is reluctant to sign a new deal with The Black Cats, is considered one of the hottest prospects in League One and was named EFL Young Player of the Month for August 2018. The striker is rated in the region of four million pounds by Sunderland.
