Leicester City have learned how to handle Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, Christian Fuchs claims. Griezmann was a thorn in the Foxes' side throughout the first half of last week's Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Vicente Calderon, constantly finding space between the midfield and defence. During the second half, though, the reigning Premier League champions changed formation, with Andy King coming on in place of Shinji Okazaki, which allowed Wilfried Ndidi more freedom to drop back and mark the France international. Despite going down 1-0 thanks to Griezmann's first half-penalty in the first leg, Fuchs believes that Craig Shakespeare's side knows how to restrict Atletico's star man.

"It's good to stand on the field against them, because you can see the pictures, but experiencing on the field, it's a different story," the Austrian left-back told the press ahead of Tuesday's return leg at the King Power Stadium. "His [Griezmann's] movement on the pitch was amazing. He always find the pockets, always between the lines and it's hard for defenders, because you don't know if you should push up or stay back.

"In the second half, we adjusted well to that. It's something that we definitely learned." The Foxes will be forced into a defensive change, with Robert Huth suspended and Wes Morgan an injury doubt, but Fuchs is confident that whichever team is selected on the day will be up to the task. "Whatever the formation and starting 11 - that's down to Craig - those guys will give their best, first of all to play their game and then get the right result," he added. "The last couple of games have showed that whenever somebody cannot play, that they can fill the gap - [Yohan] Benalouane did it very well over the last couple of games. "If it's Wes [Morgan], if it's somebody else, that fills the gap of Robert Huth, then they will try everything to get a result tomorrow."
