KickOff.com can reveal that Highlands Park are set to keep midfielder Lindokuhle Mbatha in their team for next season. Park was relegated to the National First Division after only spending one season in top-flight football. The Lions of the North have already expressed their intention to keep most of their players in their efforts to bounce straight back into the Absa Premiership, with Mbatha among those they will retain. Mbatha's manager Lwazi Mazibuko has confirmed that the club has indicated their intention to keep his client for next season. "Lindo had a one-year option on his contract," Mazibuko tells KickOff.com. "The club has since written a letter to indicate that they are exercising that option.” Mbatha made 15 appearances for the relegated side in the league this season, scoring two goals.
