After picking up a thigh injury against Italy, Jordi Alba has been ruled out for the next 10 days, and Arsenal full-back Nacho Monreal will be the one to take his place in Julen Lopetegui's squad.
Accepting the proposition straight away, the Gunner travels to Shkoder, Albania to prepare for Sunday's World Cup qualifier against the Group G leaders.
Though perhaps unlikely to start, the player will be available for the match on short notice, something Lopetegui is sure to appreciate.
