Real Madrid are re-considering their pursuit of Eden Hazard following his stuttering form this year, claims the London Evening Standard.

For like two summers the Belgian ace have been linked with a move to the Santiago bernabeu, but the Zinedine Zidane side’s side have not been too impressed with the Chelsea wingers form this season having only found the back of the net 15 times from 42 appearances in all competition.

The blues are desperate to keep their player and want to convince him to commit his long-term future at the bridge but he has stalled on a new deal so far this season. The Blues are on course to finish outside of the top-four and will face a major battle to convince their star players to stay at the club if they miss out on Champions League football.

Manchester City have also been linked with a summer move for the 27-year-old attacking midfielder but Chelsea have categorically ruled out dealing with any of their Premier League rivals even if they receive a world-record fee.
